Globally, ABA and other evidence-based therapies are known for their effectiveness. Yet, for many families, the process often feels medicalized and overwhelming. Support typically ends at the center’s door, leaving families without the tools or guidance to continue progress at home. Hong recognized this gap and reimagined what intervention could look like – blending clinical excellence with warmth, cultural sensitivity, and accessibility. Known for his meticulous clinical oversight and his role as a mentor to therapists and families alike, Hong’s impact extends beyond Engage. He was the Founding President of the Malaysia Association of Behaviour Analysis and continues to shape the professional ABA landscape across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Holding credentials like BCBA, QBA, MCBA, and LBA-Dubai, he ensures Engage upholds the highest standards of care.
